I got an IBM PS/2 Model 70 in my office last August. My department also purchased a Western Digital ethernet card for this box at the same time. I'm running DOS 4.0 and Telnet 2.2 and have yet to get connected (I have a MAC IIx in my office that's also connected to our ethernet, so it's only mildly inconvenient not to be able to connect from my IBM.). I have designated a packet driver as my hardware rather than the Western Digital card. I have configured the IBM reference disk for the card and have messed with the config.tel file about 10,000 times now. When I attempt to execute telnet, the system hangs and I have to reboot. I'm using the following parameters when I run WD8003E.COM: 96 3 280h C4000h (packet, interrupt, I/O, and RAM, respectively) Can anyone who has this configuration working properly give me some help? Please e-mail me and I'll post a summary of answers if others are interested. Thanks in advance. LoriLee
