Marty- As part of an undergrad research project and a grad class in vision, a friend and I wrote up a fairly sophisticated package called Image that I could send to you (and anyone else who's interested). I still have the tar-ed, compressed file (with Laserjet compatible output), which is about half a meg. Uuencoded, this comes to 666K, which I could mail or post. I can't offer support for this at the moment, but it does contain a nice framework and a number of image procession/computer vision/object recognition features. Will run under Unix (sys V derivatives and probably BSD) and MS-DOS using the Microsoft C large memory model... kevbop (kmont@hpda.cup.hp.com)
