[comp.sys.ibm.pc] was PS/2 boot

Someone recently put up a problem about a PS/2 giving a 301 boot error.

We have 32 70's and 80's and have had this, and other numbers appear.
The problem:
  1) memory; there are three slots on the 70's. Apparently, some of
the 'slots' went bad. Weird? The memory chips are fine but
suddenly the slots could not be used!#@$@ Fortunately, not
all slots on one machine went bad.
