[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Problems exitint Procomm Plus

MICHELBI@oregon.uoregon.edu (Michel Biedermann) (02/16/90)

Why does Procomm Plus (test drive version) ask me if I want to hang up the
line when I exit. This happens even when I am not logged on to any thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

you need to tell your modem to turn on
the data carrier detect line _only then the data carrier is detected .
on my modem ( an ATI 2400etc/i ) , this can be done by putting the
command :

	&C1

in the modem init string ( available in Procomm's setup menus ) . note
that unlike some programs , you need to exit and re - enter Procomm for
the new init string to be effective .
