I was asked by a colleague with no access to the net to pose this question. [Violins start melody, everyone is already rolling their eyes...:-)] Since my area of interest and expertise lies quite ouside this range, I don't normally get to these groups in my news reading. If you could reply by e-mail that would be greatly appreciated; requests from those interested in a summary of what I receive are also welcome. The question: What is currently available on IBM-PC (and compatible) systems in the way of class libraries? This is primarily directed at MS-DOS and Windows, but with an eye towards OS/2 as well. The Glockenspiel C++ compiler/library we have; we have also heard that Turbo Pascal has a class library. What other libraries are there? What is your favorite? Why is it good/bad?
