Has anyone managed to install 4 1MB SIMMS in a Vantage 386SX motherboard? I have 4 installed but only two MB is recognized. I called pioneer and they said to hold the insert key down while turning on the computer; I did that and got a keyboard error. Then they said I had a non-standard keyboard, but I have a true-blue IBM AT enhanced kbd. Right now my system's sitting with everything disconnected in hopes of resetting the CMOS RAM. Has anyone had success in installing mempry in this motherboard? Michael

You should have been able to run a setup program from the BIOS after booting. The insert key thing has worked for me. Did you get a manual with the mb? -- Phil Ngai, phil@amd.com {uunet, decwrl, ucbvax}!amdcad!phil When guns are outlawed, only governments will have guns.
