Casablanca means "white house", with house possibly meaning any sort of house-like building.

By the way, CBS is apparently scheduling a mid-season replacement series called Casablanca. I seem to recall that many years ago something similar was tried but it failed miserably as could be expected without that marvelous cast of character actors in the movie. Stuart
