[comp.sys.ibm.pc] european voltage i/p

I am thinking of getting a 386 with VGA and two hard drives (possibly
2x80+meg). However, I will be going to Europe for a while and am 
thinking of bringing the system along. My question is: 

Will the VGA monitor and card, hard drives and CPU be compatible
with the 220 volts 50 Hz AC input? Is a step-down transformer enough
to power up the montior, hard drives and CPU or are these dependent
on the cycle of the voltage input?
