I'm planning on buying a 386 system to replace my current XT-class machine. What I was wondering is whether programs like Windows/386 will use motherboard memory properly, or if I need to get a EMS driver. Does anyone out there know? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jim Seidman, Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA 91711. I have 286/12 with 2 Mb RAM on motherboard. I could set either extended or expanded (using software) For windows, you could set to extended memory and use smart drive (included in Windows). Don't forget to run Mem Set when you installed Windows -D.Ludirdja dlg6627@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu
