A while back there was some discussion about "Copyright"ing code. A friend
of mine is trying to put a shareware package out, but wants to do it right!
I would appriciate any pointers to an archiver which may still have this
info or if someone could email me the process.
Is there a special agency he should call?

There are various books on copyright protection for software and other legal
issues with regard to computer software. One that comes to mind is "Legal
Care for You Software".
