[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Found memory tester

tindle@ms.uky.edu (Ken Tindle) (02/27/90)

I posted here recently in search of a way to handle `parity check' errors
in IBM PC/XT machines, and got good advice. I've got a program now from
simtel20 that is perfect for this.

Long live the net! Cheers.

Hey, Ken, that's great! Seems like I missed something along the way though.
Since you were nice enough to post the thank-you, it would have been
REALLY nice if you had included the name of the program. There might be
lots of other folks that could make good use of it.
Do you think it would work on an AT class clone (386) to also test the
extended/expanded memory?

Ken
