First, DELL makes no disk controller, nor disk drives, etc. The controller is typically a Western Digital WD1007 so that's the end of brand-X worries. Second, if the drive mfr has done his job on ESDI then that too is the end of that. Gee fellas, it's so easy to call DELL to get this information rather than pestering the network. Joe D.
