Perhaps I mis-understood an earlier message, but did someone claim to have bumped the memory in this VGA card to 512KB? I didn't think that was possible (since on my card, the space for the RAM is there, but the sockets aren't). If it is, please clue me in. I bought the card because it was cheap, but now I wish I had waited for the VGA Professional (in order to get the 640x480 256 color mode). It seems that some sort of modification might be possible, since the Pro and the Plus seem identical, save for the extra RAM sockets and a different ROM. Any thoughts would be appreciated. +==========================================================================+ | Scott Shaffer | Compaq Computer Corporation @ Houston TX | | Systems Engr | (These opinions do not necessarily reflect those of my| | | employer, friends or any living person.) | +==========================================================================+ "Well son, regret is a funny thing; it's better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done."
