IBM markets the following:

	External Diskette Drive Adapter/A for Model 50 - 80
	IBM feature number 1007, $210.00

required to attach ONE of the following:

	External Diskette Drive 360kb (PS/2), #4869-001 498.00

     -or-

	External Diskette Drive 1.2mb (Mdl 50-80) #4869-002 495.00

Take heart - there are less expensive alternatives (although none that
I've used) in the area of $250 complete. Check the mail-order ads in
PC Magazine. The thing to keep in mind is that you will need an
adapter board and cable (or, at the very least a cable) to route the
disk drive interface from the drive bay to a connector on the back of
the machine.
