ok. we got a couple. This may have been mentioned already, but... How about Charles(?) Forbin and his crew in "Colossus, The Forbin Project". Not only was this an engineer, this was a Computer Scientist! Admitedly, his science was a bit odd, but he and the other scientists were portrayed as human. They were (VERY) faliable, got angry, slept with each other, ... In one of the In Like Flint movies, Flint got on his own Lear jet. An old man met him at the door and Flint asked him if he had cleaned the ash trays. The man replied "No, I got you a whole new plane." The old man man was played by Bill Lear in a cameo appearance.
