[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Lotus 123 Macro question

lrs@hpindwa.HP.COM (Larry Schwarcz) (03/07/90)

I've got a problem on Lotus 1-2-3 Rel. 2.01. I want to be able to
find duplicate records in a database.

I know that Lotus has the feature to remove duplicate records, but
I need to know which records have been duplicated.

So, does anyone out there have a macro developed that will scan a
Lotus database and give a report of duplicate records found (based
on two or three fields in the record)?

              Thanks in advance...

I got a response suggesting that I just sort the database and visually
look for duplicates.

Well, the database is far too large to do this.

Otherwise, it would be a good idea.

         Thanks, but I'm still looking.
