[net.movies] Correction on The Outsiders

I am reasonably sure that this movie is fiction, as was the book it is based
on.  Todd Vierheller is wrong to say that the book "was based on the
experiences of the author" as S. E. Hinton, the author of the book, is female!

The author is indeed female, but was something of a tomboy in her youth
(she`s now in her thirties) and still works with teen-agers.  The New
York Times has had a couple of interviews with S.E. Hinton recently,
in which this information is given.
