[comp.sys.ibm.pc] finding the version number in 123

ppd491@leah.Albany.Edu (Peter P. Donohue) (03/17/90)

I use Lotus 123 release 2 and was wondering how I could figure out
which version (between 2.01 and 2.2) that I am using? The initial
screen shown after issueing the LOTUS command tells me that I have
Release 2, but nothing more. It's copyright date is 1985 and most of
the file dates are 1985. I think I am using one of the earlier
versions, but am not sure. I am trying to figure this out because some
add in utilities that I have gotten are only supposed to work on 2.2
(trying to avoid some effort in installing them). Thanks.

Well, since release 2.2 was released in 1989, I'd say you have 2.01.
