The university probably is not participating in the Rebate program because the rebate is included in the university discount. Check the market price of the Deskjet in your local area, then apply the rebate. If this price is about the price that the university is offering, then the rebate has been rolled into the discount. Normally, the university discount is more than the dealer discount, so the machines sold by the university do not get the special rebate promotions.
