Hello, I'm looking for recommendations on a 2400 baud internal modem for a Zenith 386/25Mhz. Anyone that is using an internal modem - I'd like to here about your experiences pros/cons. During my discussions with Zenith they are not presently selling an internal modem for the 386/25. Is this true ? Well any comments/experiences would be helpful. I've been using a Prometheus internal 2400 baud modem with no problem for nearly two years. I believe JDR sells this modem as a house brand modem for $99. The speaker is real small so you have a hard time hearing dial tones and rings.
