I agree with Bruce Hamilton(?)'s long flame about the quality of cinema film showings. What we need is to start quality protests about cinemas, just as some of the people in net.music are trying to do with poor-quality LPs. One small glimmer. When I visited Toronto last year, and went to the n-plex cinema (n=26, I think) at the Eaton Center, the film was preceded by a humorous two-minute short about "please don't talk during the film".
