In response to recent queries: There is a Meaning of Life book available in bookstores now. Sorry, I didn't bring it in, so I can't tell you the publisher, but if it isn't in your local stores they should at least be able to find and special order it for you. It retails for about $11. The book is a fairly straightforward mapping of the movie onto paper. All the lyrics of the songs and the entire script are included. There is little in the book that was not in the movie, the most notable exeption being "The Adventures of Martin Luther", apparently intended to counterbalance the attack on Catholics but cut from the final release. Calling its treatment of Luther insulting would be like calling the Mr. Creosote scene discomforting. Some of the movie's best visuals are missing from the book. The scene with Terry Jones and Eric Idle in space has only a single still, the shot of the cars driving into Heaven is missing, and so on, but these are minor omissions considering the completeness of the book otherwise. I am sure that any devoted Python-philiac (such as myself) will love it. Tim Maroney
