I am using a Seagate ST-277R-1PR 65MB RLL disk drive in an 80386-AT clone. It was partitioned with DOS's FDISK (DOS V3.30). The C: partition comprises 420 cylinders (16,333 clusters), while the D: partition comprises 399 cylinders (15,515 clusters). The answer to your 1st question is probably YES also. However, in my controller (Western Digital WD1006V-SR2), the BIOS is located at CC00, not C800. bradley.grigor@canremote.uucp : ALEX is coming to Toronto in April.
