What books would you recommend for someone trying to learn assembly language for an 80286/80386 ibm compatible using MS-DOS? I am looking for books that don't devote the first six chapters to debug and converting from decimal to binary to hex. I need to write some asm routines to read from an A/D converter. In addition, if you have any recommendations regarding books dealing with programming a device like an A/D converter, that would also be greatly appreciated. e-mail would probably be the best response, I don't suppose that this is such a burning issue that the rest of the net needs to slog through the answers. Thanks in advance. ---Ken Gordon (kgordon@aramis.rutgers.edu)
