I'd like to start a dialog with people who have had experience with running an X Windows implementation on a 386 machine. (a) Which X11 vendor did you use? (b) How much? (c) How good is the implementation? - multitasking? - full X11 library? - How compatable with workstation X implementation? (d) Are there versions of X11 that run on a 286? Or will they only work on a 386. (e) Anything else you mighjt want to tell me that will be useful? Thanks. Please e-mail your response to me, and I'll post if there is enough interest? - Rob DeMillo | Internet: rjd@brown.cs.edu Brown University | Also Internet: demillo@juliet.ll.mit.edu Planetary Science Group | Reality: 401-273-0804 (home) "I say you *are* the Messiah, Lord!
