[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Telnet VT220/VT320 Terminal Emulators for MS-DOS

hanson@spsd.uu.net (Jim Hanson) (03/27/90)

I am looking for suggestions regarding VT220/VT320 terminal emulators for
MS-DOS that meet the following criteria:

	1)	Uses TELNET.
	2)	3com EtherLink II LAN Card support.
	3)	Maps the VTx20 function keys F1 - F10 onto the PC
		keyboard's F1 - F10 keys.
	4)	Maps the VTx20 cursor keys onto the PC keyboard's
		cursor keys.
	5)	CGA/EGA/VGA support.

I have seen an article that seemed to mention the KERMIT 3.0 might (or
might not?) work for my needs. I also suspect that 3com/Bridge and
SmartTerm would make such an emulator. Commercial, public-domain or
shareware packages are all acceptable. Please respond to me with the
source/manufacturer(s), pricing, extra features and other relevant
comments from your experience with the product. Thanks in advance.
