[comp.sys.ibm.pc] AST Rampage/2--HELP!! Still no support...

Okay, here we go again. I still have received no word from
AST about the ASTATS.COM program that I need to initialize
my Rampage/2 card. Looks like I will have to call them
again tomorrow. I did receive one reply from the
net who wanted to sell me his card with the software, I offered
to compensate him for providing just the software, but no response.
So these are my thoughts:

1. Does anybody else in the net have problems getting support
from AST? I can't understand the mentality of telling a customer
that the disk is in the mail, but no disk shows up six weeks
and counting later with the correct software. 

2. Does anybody else in the net besides me and the sole respondant
who is trying to get rid of his board have the AST Rampage/2,
part no 202138-002? I really do need to get a copy of the
setup program, not the EEMS driver program. The board is worthless 
without the setup program because without it the driver will not
recognize the board.

3. Why is the software for this product NOT on the AST BBS? 
Everything else is. Not only that, there is no way to send
a message to the sysop because "All messages to the Sysop are automatically
deleted"!
