Hi, I was wondering if anyone out here knows anything about bar codes. I would like to get some documentation on how they work. I have a bar code reader pen and need to write a program to output barcodes that could be read by it. This program would be done in BASIC. Does anyone out there know of any routines to print 3 of 9 bar codes on various
printers (i.e. Epson, IBM, C-ITOH, HP Laserjet, etc.). This does not have to
run on an IBM. I am actually more interested in some sort of BASIC code to do
the printing on a Printronix 600 Line Printer.

Does anyone know where to find programs for an IBM PC or better yet routines
in BASIC or higher level language to generate bar codes. Specifically
