At the time it was already in the $1 theatres, even though it had not been out very long-- which I interpreted as meaning that it was not a big sucess. At the time I did not know why; I felt it was one of the most well-made films I had ever seen in terms of combining acting, action, suspense, editing and directing. After four viewings I still feel the same way, so here's a plug. Based on a book called "Six Days of the Condor," Three Days of the Condor stars R. Redford, F. Dunaway, Cliff Robertson, John Houseman, Max von Sydow and others. Direction by Sidney Pollack. Basically it's a spy flick, and I cannot say much at all w/o spoiling the plot, so I won't. It'll be on TV again, and I highly recommend it BUT ... don't get tied up in the kitchen during commercials, as the plot is very complex. Anyone else enjoy this flick as much as I did ? --Chuck Dvorak (hou2b!dvorak) Bell Labs
