I'm trying to run MS Windows 286 under DesqView/QEMM. It seems to work fine with the exception that I am having various problems with the mouse. I have a mouse systems mouse and have configured Windows and Desqview accordingly. When I had both DV and Windows using the mouse it would work fine for a while and then, apparently at random, the mouse would go into a mode whereby it would only move horizontally, not vertically. This state persisted over a reboot on one occasion. It was eventually cured by taking out the mouse and re-inserting. I thought I might do better by not using the mouse in DV so I changes DV's setup not to use it. Everthing seemed fine 'til I PUT ASIDE Windows and then switched back to it - now the mouse was dead - apparantly not receiving any mouse interrupts. Can anyone advise me what the 'correct' DV configuration is for using Windows under DV? Any miscellaneous tips not relating to mouse usage also welcome.
