Help! I have run into a real strange problem on my system. I have an Everex 286/16 box with their combo serial/parallel port card on board. Recently, attempts to print to my parallel printer have resulted in garbage. The printer and cable have been swapped out and test OK. The strangest thing is that the garbage is consistent... That is, it will always put the printer into 132 col mode, and it appears that it is remapping the incoming characters in a constant way. (i.e. ASCII 32 (space) is always remapped to a underbar) One can see the structure of the intended output, but all of the characters a scrambled. Any input would be appreciated.
