luongt@tekig6.PEN.TEK.COM (Luong Tran) (04/11/90)

	Hi,

I have couple TSR programs is running, but I would like temporary
remove them to get extra RAM space. Would someone show me how to
do this (without to reboot the system).

	Thanks in advance,

There is a package of utilities (shareware or free, I'm not sure) containing
a couple of programs for memory management. Two of the programs that come with
that package are called "mark" and "release". You can put a "mark" in memory
whenever you want. All TSR's loaded after that mark can be removed by doing
a "release". If you have more than one "mark" in memory, "release" will
release upto the latest "mark" you put in memory (or upto a specified mark).

The package is written by an author with a Finnish sounding name and consists
of 2 archives named : "tsrcom29.arc" and "tsrsrc29.arc" (or maybe there are
newer versions already. In that case change the 29's to a higher value) and
they should be ftp-able from somewhere (simtel is the best shot I think).

The other files contained in the package are usefull as well...

I'm not connected or related to the author in any way.....
