Can anyone point me to PC- or *nix-compatible file compression software for CMS? I'd prefer ZIP, but ARC, ZOO, or tar and compress would be fine. I'd like something that can compress as well as extract (I already have ARCUTIL, which can extract ARCs but not create them). Thanks, --richard

You can request these files via bitnet from LISTSERV@BLEKUL11. From a bitnet host you can TELL LISTSERV AT BLEKUL11 GET COMPRESS PACKAGE for the Unix compress or ZOO PACKAGE for the ZOO files. Since it will take a week or more for the files to get to you from Europe to the U.S. via bitnet, you might want to anonymous ftp the files from here where we are using them on vmd.cso.uiuc.edu. Login and CD to PUBLIC.477 where we have both ARCUTIL and the ZOO files.
