[comp.sys.ibm.pc] looking for a program to rigorously test RAM memory

Hi!

     Can anyone suggest a program, either PD or commercial, that will 
rigorously read and write every bit of main memory, RAM, for IBM PC's?
I suspect my Northgate system may have either a memory or board problem
that is slipping by the normal (uncomprehensive?) diagnostics.
