[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Looking for a book....

wellings@ug.cs.dal.ca (Stephen Wellings) (04/12/90)

Does anyone know of a book (a good one) that I can buy that tells
how to build sensors, gadgets, etc. to be operated from the
RS-232 port. I'm interested in getting the computer to do tricks
	outside the box :-).

I don't know of a book on building sensors but our company is coming
out with a reference card on RS-232. Seems like once you have all the
RS-232 information all you need to do is to interface whatever kind of
sensor you build to RS-232.

Anyway, if this card is of interest it will be available in May. It costs
$3. and is an addition to a line of UNIX, C and DOS references and
tutorials. If you want more info, ask to be added to our flyer list.
