Well, thanks to Michael Ho and Arent Banck for pointing out that the
size discrepancy reported by LZEXE was due to debugging information
stored in the executable. There are several things you can do:
a) ignore the error and all will be well
b) use a program that comes with the Turbo debugger to strip the information
c) turn off source level debugging
(c) worked for me. Thanks again to all who replied.
