I just got back from seeing the movie just released called "Wargames". I'm sure most of you know about its plot concerning a computer genius(?) who undeliberately taps into an army computer and nearly causes World War III. The story, surprisingly, is believable in MOST parts and is very interesting and exciting. It does depict computers realistically as in one scene where the boy tries to logon to a computer and it does actually print "LOGON" and asks for a password of some sort (Sounds familiar, huh?) The movie is almost purely realistic for the first half and then loses its reality, but all in all it is a very good movie and fun to watch.

Oh come on, what kind of computer professional will believe that a national defense computer, responsible for the entire military power of a country will have a dial-in port and then ask for a login and password? I too thought the movie was entertaining, but things got stretched a bit with the 'realistic' approach given to computers.
