I just asked about the Miniscribe 9380S for $850. Now I am also considering a CDC-Imprimis 94171-307 (320M, 16.5ms, SCSI, FH) for $900. I think that the CDC is probably the better drive. Both come with 1 year warranties. The CDC supposedly has an MTBF of 100,000 hours, and the Miniscribe has 50,000 (are these numbers meaningful?) Any comments? Again, e-mail responses are best, as it is temporarily difficult for me to read the net. --------------------------------------------------------------------- | ericz@ucscb.ucsc.edu - Eric Zamost - (408) 426-9530 | | 35 Leonardo Lane, Santa Cruz, CA 95064 | | Disclaimer!?
