Are there any IDE host adaptors on the market that are functionally identical to the drive controller - I/O card that ALR puts in their FlexCache 25386DT that one can purchase for a generic AT class machine? What this drive controller - I/O card has in it is the folllowing: 40-pin IDE connector 34-pin Floppy controller connector Parallel Port Serial Port (DB-9) Also, you have the ability to disable the IDE interface if desired and just use the floppy, parallel and serial ports on the card. Anything like that out there for generic machines? If so, could somebody e-mail me a price and a distributor to buy one from. I haven't seen such a beast in the Computer Shopper yet. // JCA /* **--------------------------------------------------------------------------* ** Flames : /dev/null | Xenix is the ONLY thing ** ARPANET : crash!pnet01!jca@nosc.mil | Microsoft did right. ** INTERNET: jca@pnet01.cts.com ** UUCP : {nosc ucsd hplabs!hd-sdd}!crash!pnet01!jca **--------------------------------------------------------------------------* */
