I am trying to figure out how to get QuickBasic 4.5 to work with the Toshiba 1000SE's DCGA (640x400) screen. QB4.5 supports the DCGA on Olivetti and AT&T 6300's, but if you use the appropriate command (SCREEN 4) on the Toshiba, you get an error message. The Microsoft knowledge base has an article about patching Windows to work with the Toshiba 3100, which is also DCGA. You change 40 to 74 in a few places. I have been trying to figure out how to do the equivalent for QuickBasic. Has anyone solved this problem? I have spoken with people at both Microsoft and Toshiba, but so far have not gotten much help. David Friedman DDFr@TANK.UChicago.Edu
