>I have a Maynard Electronics 10Meg hard drive system(boards,chips,etc..)what I >need to know is how can I use this system with Dos 3.xx. At the present time it> is in a PC and running from DOS 2.xx . Whenever I try to run the system under> DOS 3.xx it locks up the computer. If anyone has manuals, disks or has ever see>n or used this system I would be grateful for there assistance.

If the drive works with DOS 2.xx, it should work no problem with a newer
version of DOS. The biggest thing that you will have to do is to install the
system files on the hard drive and recopy the DOS commands to the hard drive
(if you had them there in the first place). You can do this by booting up you
machine from a DOS system diskette, after it boots, from the A: prompt, type
SYS C:. After a couple of seconds it should say something like system
transfered successfully or something like that. From there, just copy the DOS
commands over to the HD and boot off the HD. After it boots, use the VER
command to insure that it worked! Hope this helps...
