According to the latest Emmy Lou Harris Poll, 98.6% of the studio audience voted the Planet of the Apes series the best of all time. The other 1.4% were slightly confused and voted for Laverne and Shirley. Charelton Heston was vacationing in El Salvador at the time and could not be reached for comment.
