anyone out there with experience using the compuadd hardcache esdi caching controller? i have been trying to get one installed in my at&t 6386e (20mhz tower) with no success. the led lights indicate that it recognized the memory that i put on the board but it either doesn't see my micropolis 1355 or it causes my system to believe that there is no hard disk out there. i tried everything that the compuadd people suggested (slowing the system down, moving the bios address, etc) but no luck in formatting. has anyone used this controller on the 6386s with success? i am shipping the board back to them so they can check it out and send me a new one but i'd like to know if i'm wasting my time. thanks, danny chen att!hocus!dwc
