Until recently I would have told you there are no inexpensive answers but I see now that Corel Draw 1.2 for the PC is out and has a trace facility similar to Adobe Streamline on the Mac. It can auto trace bitmap files and even batch autotrace. Then you can bring it into Corel Draw and export it as DXF files for AutoCAD. I haven't tried it yet but if it does as well as Corel Draw has done in the past then this is the missing (inexpensive) link between scanners and CAD!! tj
