"I just put a new engine in my car, but I forgot to take the old one out." I had a monochrome monitor on my Model D before I got my EGA board. I didn't disable the on-board graphics, I just left the swtich in the back set to Monochrome, hooked the EGA card up (to a CGA screen, no less!) and now I can have two screens working at the same time! For example, Lotus 123 will put the spreadsheet on the mono screen and all graphs on the color screen. Now this is what I call windows! I can stil run programs that use Hercules graphics on the monochrome screen. It's almost as simple as it sounds, so if anyone is interested, just send me E-mail.
