The following is a paraphased and corrected repost of a request I posted
over the weekend which I suspect never left my host:
Could some kind soul with a manual send me the dip switch settings chart
for the original Epson Apex. This is an XT clone with a "feature card"
style processor board and a CGA/mono video board. The 10 dip switches are
all on the rear of the processor board along with the printer port. There
are only 4 slots, two of which are used (processor and video), and there
are two floppies.
A full chart would be particularly helpful. I called Epson, but they are
unwilling to read me all the possible settings over the phone.
I am particularly in need of the info on which switches to throw to go
from CGA color to mono video, as my daughter left all her manuals at school
when she came home from college for the summer.
