I am having problems with a low serial number PS/2-60. The problems seem to be around the floppy diskette drive or interface. I vaguely remember that there were some known bugs in the hardware which had similar symptoms. Does anyone remember any of the details or know how I could track down if these problems are real. BTW I have sent this system to "Serviceland" for repair of this problem, when they got the machine it exhibited no symptoms so they reseated cables and returned it. Thanks in advance. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I program ... therefore I am. John Lefor University of Rochester Dept of E. Have your local IBM dealer install a file called DASDDRVR.SYS in your root directory. It will cure a host of problems associated with the model 50, 60, and 80.
