I use 50-line mode on my VGA for just about everything I do. I recently started using DESQview (v2.25), and found that I couldn't get 50-line mode to work. When I call DV, it automatically switches into 25. If I use DOS' mode co80,50 from a window, it loads the 8x8 font, but still only uses 25 lines, and even programs that normally ignore that (MS-Kermit, for example) are unable to access the bottom half of the screen. Several things in the DV manual mention 50-line mode (memory allocation for text screens and such), but nothing tells me how to get into it. Help! -- Jason Merrill jmerrill@jarthur.claremont.edu

Go into the rearrange menu, then video, then select 4 I believe to increase the numbers of lines per page to 50.
