I must take exception to the other review of this film, which I saw recently in this newsgroup. I went with some friends to see the film last week, and we all liked it immensely. Sure, the story is not always credible and there are some racist "jokes" uttered, but the whole theatre was laughing most of the time, and we weren't all white, either! Suffice to say that it's pretty funny, and don't let the stuffed-skirt (sic) review you may have read earlier stop you from seeing it. You'll find that it IS important that the gorgeous woman is a prostitute, and that what little nudity there is actually fits in quite nicely -- it is neither offensive nor unnecessary. The other review I read might almost have been written by one of the characters in the film -- Winthorpe's fiancee. See it, you'll like it. (Especially for two bucks!) Mark Paulin

I liked it. Did anyone else recognize the actor who plays the pawn broker?
