[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Fix for filec problem

Since my mailer bounced a number of my replys to peoples help for the
filec fix I thought I'd just post it. Hope others out there may get some
use from this...


Problem: Filec is run. When using the escape key to complete a filename
         the only thing that happens is a backslash and line feed are 
         printed ("\").

Fix:     The terminal (keyboard/monitor) need to be enhanced ansi. So to
         make filec run correctly put the statement below into config.sys.
         The path may have to change depending on where you nansi.sys file
         is located.

         device=c:\bin\nansi.sys

Once the fix is installed the only thing that may have to be done to get
filec up and running is to reasign the keys using the fileckey program
that comes with filec.
